Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate need for a payroll specialist with one of our prominent business services partners in the Lakeville area! If you have 4-6 years of payroll processing and ADP experience then apply today!
Process and review payroll for all employees (hourly, salaried, contract) on a biweekly/monthly basis
Verify timekeeping records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate wage calculations
Maintain and update employee payroll information, including tax withholdings, direct deposit, benefits deductions, and job classifications
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, tax codes, and internal policies
Prepare payroll reports for internal stakeholders and assist with audits and financial reporting
Handle garnishments, bonuses, reimbursements, and other special payroll transactions
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration with benefits and accounting
Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information at all times
4+ years of payroll processing experience; multi-state payroll experience
Proficiency in ADP or ADP workforce now
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax filings, and labor laws
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle sensitive data with integrity and confidentiality
Certification (e.g., CPP - Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus
